Description

Crackle Spray Tuning white 1K

Crackle Effect is a 2-layer effect lacquer spray. It creates an appearance on different acrylic or nitro composite surfaces, as if the paint surface were torn, similar to leather. This can therefore be used very effectively for a trendy look.

Important is the previous painting with a 1K acrylic or nitro base lacquer.

As soon as the effect spray is applied over the previously painted surface, the cracking process begins on the surface.

Base coat recommendation: black and colorful tones

Instructions:

Primer with acrylic or nitro combination varnish

The substrate must be dry, clean and free of grease.
First coat the substrate with a 1K varnish of acrylic or nitro-based varnish (no synthetic resin!).
At least two crossings are required in order to obtain a certain layer thickness which ensures an optimum formation of the effect. The more paint layers, the more pronounced the subsequent crack formation.
Allow to dry for about 45 minutes.

Application of Crackle Effect for cracking

The best result is obtained when the Crackle spray is applied to the colored lacquer spray (acrylic or nitro-combi) within 72 hours.
Shake can for approx. 3 minutes.
At a low layer (at least 2 full spray runs), a fine structure is formed. Larger layer thicknesses of theCrackle Effect result in larger cracks.
Spray removal approx. 10 - 15 cm.

Do not spray on paints painted with synthetic resin!

More lacquer layers of both sprays lead to more pronounced effect structures.

Tips:

To maintain a long lasting protection of the effect lacquer, we recommend to permanently seal it with a 1K acrylic or nitro combined clearcoat or with the 2K clear lacquer.

Transparent surfaces or glass containers retain their transparency when the surfaces are sprayed with 2-layer clear lacquer as a base lacquer.
